OUT WITH THE OLD...

In Federalist No. 10, a widely respected and studied piece years ago, James Madison argues that factions are an unavoidable consequence of human nature. People form groups based on differing opinions, wealth, and identity.

These differences can lead to conflict, but eliminating them would require removing liberty itself. We beleive that everyone should experience liberty to it's full extent.

“The latent causes of faction are thus sown in the nature of man.”

DIFFERENCE SYSTEM READING

Our organization seeks to reframe Madison's arguement: Instead of treating difference as a problem to manage, it becomes the foundation of system design. Why force people to ignore difference and further raise tension when we can embrace it and work together to chance our nation for the better?

A functioning society is not one without conflict, but one that distributes difference so no single identity becomes totalizing or erased.

Under our government program, accessibility, acceptance, and equity are no longer just buzzwords, but part of a philosophy we will work to hold paramount everywhere from workplaces to school buildings.
